FWIW… I’m on Wegovy, but I can report that I can take my mask off in the middle of the night if it’s bothering me (stupid air pressure leaking into my eye), and I don’t snore any more. Debating getting retested to see if I could safely stop using it.

Not that you asked me, but I’ll volunteer: it’s worked great for me. Doc put me on it for weight and blood sugar; I’m down 40lbs (252 in feb 2024, 212 as of last week). Still eat what I love, I just eat less. Worst side effect so far has been the sulfur burps…

We’ve had a blast with her family this week. It’s so different from what I experienced, but I remind myself that this is what my son will grow up remembering and it makes me so happy to watch. But my God,what I wouldn’t give for one more of my Grandmother’s Thanksgivings, with my family and my son.

Then Mom passed in ‘23. This isn’t my first thanksgiving without her or her family. But it’s the first one where I’ve had the whole week off and spent it with my son and my wife’s family. It’s outside the experience I grew up with, but our boy is having the time of his life with his cousins.
