It's not flashy but Gift of the Viper has always been an upset when I've seen it played. A cheap disruption spell that then has lasting implications. I could put in bigger or flashier choices but this one surprised me, so I'll go with this

My most played currently is Alela, Artful Provocateur. I run it with enchantments and only flyers (more or less).

I first started playing at the tail end of Legions but dipped when Lorwyn came out.
Got back into Magic by playing Commander with a Teysa Karlov aristocrats deck but not have a bunch of different decks.
Recently I've been playing a lot of Alela, Artful Provocateur

Started back in 2018 with Teysa Karlov and just haven't looked back. Got into it kidding myself I'd only need one copy of each card to make commander decks. Not thinking I'd want duplicates so I didn't need to take decks apart

Really curious about the new Foundations Jumpstart MTG set. It seems to appeal so much more in commander than the main set, and I'm so looking forward to seeing what problems I can cause with this little guy. I just hope it's not too expensive.
