I suggest collecting payment up front unless you want to roll the dice on my math skills post procedure.

At least I can Probably use the promotional pens to do my own lobotomy. Lord only knows our medical system would use the same pen and charge $3k.

Fucking seriously. I’m also 1/2 a chapter in and 90% convinced that Six Sigma is a cult. There was a Sentence that I almost vomited to that boiled down to “success is achieved when everyone has gotten on board, seen themselves out, or learned to shut up”

The fact that that something else is meant purely for the same morally bankrupt cronies to profit from while bulldozing the populace only adds insult to injury.

It is, admittedly, a significant piece of the reasons that I left Ohio at 18.
But also…. I grew up in Cleveland. I know the rules. It’s after Halloween. It’s fair game.

Knifing people in the back after they have made sacrifices and supported your risk-taking is not actually superior to not waging a fight. Both of these things just suck.

Summing it up: pure stupidity from Fetterman:
“Vote yes, he said, “and then we can find a way to lower our costs about health care.””
Because letting go of what little leverage you have is always the best way to win a fight.

With no surprises as to what IS being funded instead of care of the American people:
“That includes $203.5 million in new funding to enhance security measures and protection for members of Congress in addition to $852 million for US Capitol Police”

Some positives:
“Democrats also secured an agreement from the White House to reverse its mass firings of federal workers during the shutdown, as well as protections against them happening the rest of this fiscal year. It also guarantees all federal workers will be paid for time during the shutdown.”
