Monday always feels like my busiest day of the week! Given the weather moving in here in Texas and it being the last full week before Thanksgiving, I need a little extra motivation! It’s that old “I’d rather be doing anything else but this” feeling.

Teaching reminds me how little and how much I know at once. The negotiation of knowledge is the thing that I look for in the classroom. It’s humbling and always better with caffeine!

I tend to drink more coffee closer to bedtime than I do wake up time. I think it’s because when I started drinking coffee when I was in high school, it was because my older brother would make some in the evening and we’d watch RoboCop for like the 926th time.
