This is hilarious outside of the obviously bs point about getting "savaged" cuz like, what so I'm supposed to feel bad for these ppl because they think they can't make art but still want all the recognition of somebody who has practiced for countless hours to hone their craft. It's just hilarious.
I mean, things are tough all over. If rude criticism stops you from making art, you should probably not be making art.

this is what I mean when I say you have to stand up for the gross stuff, btw. bsky just banned an entire fictional category of wholly consensual sex by lumping it in with more contentious (still fictional) content. it is kowtowing to puritans because they get a disgust reaction from scary words.
i can understand why people feel icky about the last two letters on their own, even though it's still incredibly myopic of them (every single ruling one can make on "what is worthwhile art that deserves to exists" is arbitrary nonsense). but they're banning *fictional, consensual sex.* ridiculous.
