Posts video game things on Saturdays.
Terrors 2 is a horror visual novel for the WonderSwan! Honestly, I don't know much about it, other than the Terrors series seemed moderately big at the time. Also, it used the WonderGate to use cell phone internet.

There was one year that I found a bunch of copies of Binary Domain for like $5. It's a great game made by the Yakuza devs. I bought a stack of them and everyone I knew who had a PS3 got a copy of BD. I had to spread the word of Big Bo.

Diddy Kong Racing was the other game I got for the N64. Let's be real, I wanted Mario Kart. That was the game everyone had but DKR was fun in its own way though. Much like Mario 64, it was neat to just explore the hub world.

I remember circling Dragon Warrior 3 in the Toys R Us book. I hadn't played any of the others at the time but I liked JRPGs.
Before the bulk of the gifts could be opened on Xmas, my mom let me open one. I thought I had only gotten the guide.

In late 1998, my mom took me to the Toys R Us in Times Square to pick my presents. I don't really remember if I fully knew about this game yet, but it was definitely the hot item of the season. I chose Blue version.

Star Fox 64 was one of the 2 first games I got for the N64. This is my original copy! I still have the manual! This game is great. It's a 3D rail shooter in space where you fight a giant monkey face

Tank! Tank! Tank! is a mostly known for being an arcade game in Dave & Busters, but it was also on the Wii U. It's a simple tank deathmatch game but it's pretty fun and it would be great to have a modern version with online play.

If you had a PS1 as a kid, you probably remember playing Driver and being stuck in the garage. Listen, I don't know what kid knew what a slalom was so that was a problem. As a adult, I can actually make it out. Fun game

Xyanide on the OG Xbox twinstick shmup on with crazy good presentation. The gameplay is a 2D shooter but in a 3D world. Everything is constantly moving around you. It looks very impressive.
Also the intro has a space witch getting captured.

Invasion From Beyond is a pretty obscure PS1 game. Aliens are invading Earth and it's up to your team of 3 aircraft pilots to stop them! Gameplay is very fast and a little unwieldy. But the game clicked with me and I really enjoy it.

Actually, Cold Fear came out and nobody cared. It's a pretty decent game but releasing 2 months after Resident Evil 4 did it no favors, but it's worth a look.

So I recently restarted Alan Wake to go through with the peeps on Discord. It's been a while but the end of that first chapter still hits.
Anyway, besides this OG 360 copy, here are a few pics of the Illuminated art book. Physical edition! Who still has one?

Here is Alone in the Dark: Inferno. Luckily, PS3 version had some enhancements so they gave it a subtitle. Otherwise, how could you tell it apart from Alone in the Dark, Alone in the Dark,or the recent Alone in the Dark?

Nightmare Before Christmas:
Oogie's Revenge is a hack and slash game featuring the Pumpkin King himself. As seen here, I have a special alternate cover art. 😂 Shout-out to whoever drew this

Cubivore is a game where you are a little cube monster trying to eat other cube monsters. Once you eat enough, you grow extra flat cube limbs, fight the boss, and mate with the hotty cube to repeate the cycle. Also it's rare & expensive

Katamari Damacy is the game where your dad went on a bender, destroyed the stars, and now is tasking you to roll up some (not) garbage from Earth, chuck it into the cosmos, and make new stars.

Chulip is the kissing game made by Punchline. Kid moves into town, sees a total baddie by the big tree, and wants to kiss her. Except he's lame & poor, so she wants nothing to do from him. Now he must learn to kiss from the town residents

Cima: The Enemy! This unique action RPG/RTS game is developed by Neverland (of Lufia and Rune Factory fame) and is something of a hidden gem. Aliens are kidnapping people to suck their life energy out. Escape!

Jackie Chan Adventures: Legend of the Dark Hand is a pretty solid beat-em-up. It was based on the KidsWB show for anyone that remembers that. It was also one of the first 3 GBA games I received, along with SMA and F14-Tomcat.

Golden Sun and GS: The Lost Age are all time classic RPGs from Camelot. If you love 16/32bit era RPGs and you haven't played these, what are you even doing?

Sigma Star Saga for the GBA is a shmup RPG. It's all standard RPG stuff until the battles come, where it turns into a quick side scrolling shoot-em-up session. Pretty unique combo!

Go, Sprout! is a Game&Watch-like LCD game from Tiger, featuring the branding of the Green Giant canned vegetables. You are the Little Giant, trying to collect corn while avoiding Mr Crow. The controls take a lot of getting used to

Hidden Invasion on the PS2 has a cool box art that tempted me to buy it for cheap one day. I guess it's a arcadey third-person action/shooter? Somebody tell me about this & maybe I'll get to it faster lol
