It's been a while since I've worked on stuff, especially after my Motherboard died. But I did some stuff on and off stream recently. They still are mostly sitting at the basic concept stage, but I think they're cute <3

Spent a lot of time today on stream working on level design again, mostly in the bigger parts over small details. The two wood/tree levels are coming along much nicer, but the "Moon Base" is a lot rougher.

Can we rebrand "Thunder Thighs" as a good thing? Cuz God damn is it a fun thing to say.
Also I'm trying a TEMS unit for pain relief, because Ring Fit has more hands than I could've imagined.

For example, this! I just kinda did it. I need to learn to make good textures, and the central pillar here will eventually be replaced, but I think having this in the first level as a nice lookout spot would be pleasant.

I had to doubt myself, but no, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is indeed getting an upgraded version. Of all the games I could have predicted would be afflicted by my "Remaster Magic", that's the one. The one I mentioned last and with the most doubt....

I mostly just use Twitch Tracker to compare my streams with each other, but the ranking bit usually floats between 120k and 170k. This is... surprising....

So my mother made a comparison between fish and tomatoes, basically about how a lot of people don't want them unless they look "perfect".
So I did what any sensible amateur gamedev does and made a Tomato Fish, and a little "Grape Tomato", and of course a chonky boi.

When you open the 2D Side Scroller presets for the first time, the vast majority of stuff you see here doesn't exist. Only six of those little blocks. I have learned how to add all of this and make it work mostly just with Googling ideas. (1/4)

Here's it in action before some changes I've made. I know the grapple itself doesn't work well, but given it's not supposed to be a hard limit like a rope, but a tongue, I kept it similar. The max distance can also be extended or drawn in by the player while grappling
