I use this account for things I can't say. (A reference to the Paul Graham essay http://paulgraham.com/say.html)

NYT photographer Doug Mills captured one of the bullets in flight. It probably grazed his ear. No teleprompters were hit.

Cars have gotten a lot better over time, but the backup camera requirement means that we’ll never again have dashes that look like this. 😭

The AR was bought in Wisconsin by Dominick Black & given to Rittenhouse that day. The 1st person shot (Rosenbaum) chased Rittenhouse & grabbed the barrel of his rifle. The 2nd (Huber) beat Rittenhouse with a skateboard & tried to take his rifle. The 3rd (Grosskreutz) pointed a handgun at him.

Most handguns today have plastic frames (which are the serialized part & legally considered a firearm). The pressure bearing parts (slide, barrel, locking block) are metal.

I printed this frame & put a few hundred rounds through it. It failed to cycle at first, but became reliable after ~50 rounds.

A 3d printed frame and a standard Glock have the same amount of metal. You still need a metal slide, rails, barrel, springs, etc. Also ammunition is contains lots of metal.

This is an x-ray of a Glock. The frame is plastic, but lots of other parts are metal.
