Hey, I once got suspended from Twitter for suggesting that a couple of TERFs participating in a dogpile on me should go drink battery acid!

Ban-twinsies!

As the owner of Generic Fat Tuxedo Cat #547A, I want it on the record that I think Rocket is stunning and perfect.

transness is a gift. i need every trans woman to understand that by nature of their existence they have been blessed with the ability to pluck the strands of fate with their hands if they choose to. it is not always easy and it is not without hardship but every trans woman is capable of greatness.

I also don't much care for Horowitz so this is just bad news all around for me. I loved one of his books, but the others I read felt very sketchy to me; I feel like he's probably #problematic

I mean, a lot of twelve years are still in the developmental phase children go through where they're kind of sociopaths, plus I found people getting hit in the nuts hilarious until I was about seventeen so...yes? Probably?

It puts me in the mind of the style of book marketing that involves simply listing the easily-identifiable, easily-digestible tropes that the plot can be boiled down to and presenting those with NOTHING ELSE, though for reasons I'm having trouble articulating.

I have never met a movie so desperate to give me EXACTLY what it thinks I want without ever surprising me or making me feel any anxiety, and correspondingly I have rarely held a movie in such contempt.

I'm about as white as a person can be and I have several aunts and uncles who I am not related to, but they're close and dear family friends. Trying to gin this into some kind of scandal is honestly completely baffling to me.

This all underscores two fundamental truths:

1. The housing market in Canada is fundamentally broken
2. Commodifying the very concept of shelter was probably not the best idea we've ever had.

I don't know what the solution is. But neither does Doug Ford.
