Smoking is the #1 cause of bladder cancer.
The first sign of bladder cancer is often blood in the urine.
There are other causes of blood in the urine, including kidney stones and infection.
Blood in the urine is never normal. If you have blood in your urine, call your health care provider.

If you have urinary frequency, consider what you are drinking. Caffeine, sugar and alcohol all increase frequency.
Urinary frequency is one of the first signs of elevated blood sugar.
If you are getting up at night to urinate, try stopping fluids 1-2 hours prior to bed.

1. Drink water
2. Wipe front to back
3. Wear all cotton underwear
4. If you wear pads or pantyliners, change them frequently
5. No soaps to vaginal tissues
6. Cranberry supplements and probiotics aid in prevention
