I am the LAST fucking person to accept Calvinist points, and the other people in my household also agree that Calvinism=bad and yet here I am, getting John MacArthur videos all over my dashboard. I played whack-a-mole with them, but if I didn't know better I'd be on a very un-fun rabbit hole.

Anyhoo, this is how people get so deeply radicalized so quickly. Your interests overlap with a subset of "Fuck no" grade bullshit, so you suddenly get a fire hose of said bullshit across your feed, and you may not know any better because you don't have the knowledge base to know to nope out.

(For those of you who don't know, Calvinism's basic idea is that God has only elected a select few to salvation and if you're not that, you're fucked. I consider it to be a very dangerous, controlling, and cruel theology. Most of the Christian horror stories I know came from Calvinist churches)
