Amazon's been having some issues with ratings getting posted ever since they had their outage a few weeks back, but things are starting to catch up a bit.

Agent of the Wild just hit 50 ratings this morning, with a previously unheard of (for me) 5.0 star average. Here are the latest reviews:

Working on the formatting for next year's Kickstarter special edition of Red Right Hand, complete with stubbed-out pages where I'll drop the new original art when it's ready. My formatting has changed so much over the years that updating these early books takes some work.

It's maybe a little bit silly to admit, but we have the See These Bones collector's edition on our coffee table, and every time I sit down, I feel compelled to pick it up and page through it.

It's just really, really cool and l'm so glad my angel wife convinced me to get it made. 😊😊

Almost all beta readers have reported back on Agent of the Wild, edits have been made, and I'm ~halfway through the formatting process.

One last readthrough this weekend to catch anything I broke (there's always something), and then we are good to go for next week's release!

This AI-generated spam email is almost as long as the 5-year-old story it's poorly pretending to have read.

Here is the 5th Anniversary See These Bones Collector's Edition Hardcover that we kickstarted earlier this year. So glad to have mine now!

Yes! The artist's interpretation of the scene from See These Bones. She's prettier here than she is in the book, but I love the art so much. :D

Here's the print image we made the bookmark from:

Pretty enough that I don't even regret having to order so many extras. 😁

The audiobook for The Queen of the Road, book 2 of The Storm Who Rides, is now available on Audible!

If you're a fan of The Murder of Crows trilogy and haven't yet tackled the spinoff series starring everyone's favorite motorcycle monster, you know what to do!

Last night's whisky tasting. 😅

We added the four on the end by request although half the group had bowed out by then.

There was a wide range of reactions, but I was pleased to see the Black Art 4.1 was a standout, even if the Octomores were a miss for those trying peat for the first time.

Day 19 of #FantasyIndiesAugust

With apologies to my writing professors, the best writing advice I ever got came from an art teacher, who said that what didn't go onto the canvas was just as important as what did.

Negative space matters, in art and writing.

Day 21 of #FantasyIndiesAugust

Brian isn't a morning person, per se... he is used to getting up early, but isn't necessarily chipper about it.

Miko is very much NOT a morning person. If she could, she'd sleep to noon every day. Sadly for her, life rarely cooperates.

Day 18 of #FantasyIndiesAugust

No playlist for me. I write in silence, only occasionally broken by the noise of grackles, dogs, and the neighbor's children committing bloody murder outside.

Day 17 of #FantasyIndiesAugust

I haven't written a poem in two years, but here's one from that timeframe that kind of qualifies as a fairy-tale poem?

Day 16 of #FantasyIndiesAugust

Sometimes, adventuring is about the profit. Sometimes, it isn't.
