My day at @theuncannyexp.bsky.social was more of an Alpha Flight Experience today, thanks to 2 hours of panels by @maconfleetwood.bsky.social and @whynotpodcast.bsky.social, and a whole buncha AF goodies from Excelsior Embroidery! Not bad, eh.

When I was little, my father took us to see Jimmy Swaggart preach (or whatever he did) at a convention center in Indianapolis. Because it was GA seating, there was a stampede when doors opened and I was separated from my parents and nearly trampled. I was 6 years old. Thoughts & prayers, asshole.

It just occurred to me that this soundtrack was released in June 1980 but I didn’t own it until Christmas of the same year. How was I expected to have a healthy childhood for those almost six Xanadu-free months?!?!
