Natasha Lyonne in the Fantastic Four movie looked like she could have stepped out of a panel from a John Byrne issue of FF.

If I planned a cosplay for next year’s @theuncannyexp.bsky.social , who should I go as? I kinda wanna rock my natural hair, but that leaves me with Magneto or Old Man Logan? Suggestions appreciated.

My day at @theuncannyexp.bsky.social was more of an Alpha Flight Experience today, thanks to 2 hours of panels by @maconfleetwood.bsky.social and @whynotpodcast.bsky.social, and a whole buncha AF goodies from Excelsior Embroidery! Not bad, eh.

Off-brand Gary Numan moments but in an absolutely essential kind of way. This compilation is delightful.

When I was little, my father took us to see Jimmy Swaggart preach (or whatever he did) at a convention center in Indianapolis. Because it was GA seating, there was a stampede when doors opened and I was separated from my parents and nearly trampled. I was 6 years old. Thoughts & prayers, asshole.

It’s been a crummy week. Maybe not the worst week on record, but still crummy. Even the weather sucks. But this morning I realized I’ve been lifting regularly for a year now…and that’s something good, yeah?

Bob the Drag Queen’s novel “Harriet Tubman: Live In Concert” was my fastest read of a book in years. I basically inhaled it in two sittings and enjoyed every last fume. #yaybooks #yayreading #reclaimingmybrain

Walked into my local wrecka stow for the new Stereolab and walked out with a lovely reissue of a severely out of print Gary Numan album. Good music geek day.
