The “free world” can survive and even prosper without the US, which sadly has rarely been the defender of democracy and human rights.

How soon will it take blue states to realise they would be better off cutting off the red states dissing them with one hand and grabbing the handouts with the other before they stop subsidizing a federal government that abuses them.

I think that Trudeau’s retirement and the expectation that a highly respected economist will assume the Liberal leadership, plus the juvenile performance politics of the Trump-supported Conservative leader, has shifted the momentum considerably, especially in light of Trump’s disgraceful attacks.

I’ve seen a lot of comments that as a Canadian read like bots or trolls. I know that the Conservatives have benefited from a lot of people tired with Trudeau, but when faced with needing a government that stands up for Canada many people see how disloyal voting for a Trumpette led party would be.
