I’m delighted to report a tremendous find here in New Orleans. I bought the 1780 second edition of John Howard’s study of British prisons. I’ve wanted this book for years and found a nice copy at an excellent price at Crescent City Books.

Last night’s New Orleans’ Chewbacchus Parade was led by the actor who plays Colin Robinson, the energy vampire in What We Do in the Shadows. The parade’s theme is “Chewbacchus XIV: The Rise of the Superb Owl,” based on the episode where the vampires are invited to a Super Bowl party.
