His Hail Saten collection is great too. Good peek at the state of horror in the late 90s/early 00s.

I've admittedly read too little of Brian's fiction, but his nonfiction is captivating. Such a humorous and brutally honest look at the insides of the horror fiction community from someone who's been living it for decades. Really, really dug this one.

And it was hilarious and disgusting in equal measure. Still gag sometimes thinking about it.
