Suburbs of Columbus

The rumors of the Failblazer's death have been greatly exaggerated. No damage to the structure, so I popped a junkyard door on and it will live on for now.

Pictured - my fleet is now majority Ohio-built! A '25 Accord Hybrid has been added to serve as my daily, alongside the '25 Wrangler and '06 TB.

Is the end of the legendary #failblazer?

Looks like a drunk plowed into my 18-years-owned '06 Trailblazer around midnight in my driveway and then left.

From the first week of the pandemic.

In the context of the ID.Buzzkill recall recently, I have to wonder how Ford gets away with this.

Imagine this, but with an airbag behind it.

Muskingum University is in New Concord, Ohio - 20 miles from Zanesville.

This is why people outside big cities think that the media doesn't care about them - because they don't care to get the details right.

I'd tell the Columbus Dispatch to do better, but they've proven time and again they can't.

I generally try to avoid shopping Walmart for all kinds of reasons..but we need wiper blades for a leased Jeep that will go back in just over a month. Hard to justify parts store prices.

That Walmart breaks down wiper unit prices *by the inch* like lumber or produce, however, is amusing.

My Super Bowl party is mellow. A cat and a beer are all I need.

At the half, AMC is leading.

Fun fact - my girlfriend during my freshman year of high school drove one of these.

Touchdown Datsun!

Oh, wait.

If you didn’t know that a local jurisdiction is called “Licking County” this sounds even worse.

The world may be going to shit…but the kitten doesn’t care.

Oh, to be a cat.

Well, I pulled the trigger.

And it’s actually pretty good.

I love a Wikipedia rabbit hole. Went looking for a primer on old-school municipal lighting, and was served this disambiguation at the top.

That someone decided to do a deep dive on the chemistry of lighting one's own flatulence reminds me that however dark the world may be, there is light.

Odd targeted ad on FB for a…moonshine still?

Wonder how the math works out on paying Chinese tariffs to avoid “the revenuers.”

Makes me long for a tuned flathead Ford…

Since we live in a world where nothing matters and we should all fucking give up, let us all have ice cream...flavored like Skyline Chili.

Feeling like a good evening to take the top off of the Jeep and go for ice cream.

I know the spot is a week or two old, but I'm about 99% certain that Tim Tebow is stepping out of a vintage Datsun Roadster (1600/2000, SRL311/SPL311) in the new AT&T commercial.

Yes, I'm a Datsun nerd.

This just appeared on my FB feed.

No fucking way I’d ever follow the angry cheetoh.

Wonder if ‘ole Zuck put yet another thumb on the scale.

They say the average car on American roads is 12.5 years old - at least the last time I checked.

These two are skewing the data. Unless you work in a salvage yard, when was the last time you saw a Mercury Lynx?
