European 1st. Tax the rich instead of punishing the poor. For sake of planet & animals please eat less meat/dairy. UK needs more immigration. Abuse/bigotry/pedantry blocked. #SlavaUkraini #climatecrisis #animal_welfare #environment #refugees #Palestine 🇪🇺🇺🇦
The bottom line is that due to fiscal drag, inflation & cuts in welfare & public services, more poor, low paid & average earners will be worse off over the next few years. This is a betrayal of Labour’s founding values.

It seems hypocritical that you can say you love animals while eating them.

Indeed. It’s easy to see how England could easily slide into total fascism. That’s why I’m so annoyed with Labour. Instead of confronting the bigotry & hatred, they have, wittingly or unwittingly, encouraged it with their lies about “legitimate concerns” & demonising language regarding migrants.

I also have a brother, who’s a wealthy banker, and he’s just full of hate for anyone who’s poor & vulnerable. Would love to do a family swap !

Indeed. I have elderly relatives, very dependent on NHS, who think Farage would be the best PM ever. They are totally brainwashed & the only saving grace, and I don’t feel ashamed to say it, is that they probably won’t live long enough to see their delusional dream come true.

Is that Clacton, Florida?

It’s only a matter of time before these matters are pursued as war crimes/crimes against humanity & the perpetrators brought to justice.

Yes, indeed. I think individuals need a judicious approach to social media. The various platforms reach & influence are enormous. TikTok has about 2 billion users. Their rise is also a massive challenge to traditional media &, indeed, governments. Communication is the key to all change, good & bad.

I agree about podcasts, but I wouldn’t dismiss Tik Tok. There is some really informative stuff there from some of the leading global politicians, academics & thinkers.

Indeed. R4 Today used to be an informative news source. Now it’s mainly feeble tittle-tattle. I’m now resorting to watching Tik Tok videos instead. Actually some are very amusing.

Exactly. Sadly, Rachel Reeves seems to be living in a fantasy world. Because of the income tax threshold freeze some 780,000 more people will be paying tax for the first time. Many are struggling to survive & can’t afford to pay a penny more. Labour has betrayed the poorest in society.
November 29, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Totally agree. There was an opportunity to rebalance the economy & society to make it fairer. Instead, low & average earners will be worse off in years to come, due to inflation, fiscal drag & cuts to public services & welfare.

The whole asylum system is a total mess & Labour, like the Tories, are just using knee jerk reactions instead of listening to experts & devising a coherent plan. Letting asylum seekers work, as many other countries already do, would enable many of them to pay for their own transport.
