OMG ACA open enrollment. I'm keeping my same health coverage next year but choosing the version that does not include vision & dental coverage. Bronze plan FYI. My premium increased over 1100% from '25 to '26 ($25.50 to $312.37). I'm now reliant on Mexico for dental. Am I angry? No. I'm infuriated.

Dropping in from Mars after the death of my husband & 4 trips shortly thereafter. Things feel surreal & familiar at the same time. There is a lot to do, but my pathological demand avoidance is high, so things that aren't urgent are first done. I keep reminding myself I need to be patient w/myself.

I hadn't said here yet, but my spouse died in February due to injuries suffered in a fall in our home. His memorial service will be in WI in May. Date and time yet to be determined. I'm devastated but doing ok. My neighborhood is rallying around me, and I see family soon. Can't wait.

Man plans; God laughs. My spouse has had a rare cancer for 15 years, the other for 1.5. We knew that someday he would likely be on hospice care. Who knew that it wouldn't be the cancer but a weird bleed from a not too hard fall that would put us here now? The goal is comfort for a good death. ❤️🩹😭🥀
