Any block puzzle game can give you the experience of wiping out because it was too fast. But I love the unique Lumines experience of dying because the damn bar is doing too leisurely a saunter across the screen while stuff piles up

I was doing this with Lumines Remastered, which I've never beaten before, and I got so excited to learn that Lights is in it as the final level (really loved that song in 2005!) that I died instantly and there did not actually get to hear how they mixed it in the game 😔

There are so many funny skins in this one but I think the arctic truck tailgate is PROBABLY the funniest. It's crazy how stiff the competition is though

After ten million years of playing games with minimalist aesthetics it's SO refreshing to play a block puzzle game, the genre with the most baked-in excuse for it, nevertheless somehow manage to go even more maximalist than you had even considered possible

Something I only noticed in this video for the first time now: that appears to be a BABY capybara with the mother is just standing right nearby, completely unconcerned about the 0% possibility that this is going to actually work out for the pelican.
