We are proud to partner with organizations like the Union Gospel Mission, whose temporary winter shelter I toured this week, to deliver this important work.

We know these spaces are life-saving, so our government is expanding temporary winter shelter spaces to bring more people inside, with 6,500 spaces in 58 communities heading into this winter.

They are amazing resources of knowledge, and I hear all the time about the good work they do encouraging young readers, connect people to community programs, supporting seniors…and that’s often all in a day’s work!
