Data analyzed by @bylaurenfitz.bsky.social and @adrianacardmag.bsky.social shows 5,200 people were processed through Broadview Jan. 1 to July 28 — a 3x increase from the same time last year.

ICE regularly held immigrants far beyond the hours they set for the Broadview processing center, data through July shows. Immigrants held there say there are no beds, limited food and toilets are out in the open with no soap or toothpaste.
