1) I totally get the unease of "I like..." & "I prefer not..." 2) These are great clue-rich images, so not directed here, but a note that 3) as a past Santa for a giftee with a "you slueth it out" stance, I found that really confronting. I did my best, but that message stamped out some of the joy.

Animal shaped ornaments made of natural materials - not for a tree but just tucked around here and there. Fabric scraps. Kind thoughts. And according to our space planners at work, books that nobody uses or needs space for anymore. (Except I use them, of course.)

Those hair bow clips are great! I have a good collection of sparkly flowery & butterfly-y hair clips. Your collection makes me realise I should wear mine more. 🦋

Leaving the theatre after Shiva Baby, companion said something like, "not going in blind again to any movies you pick". I don't know WHAT he was talking about.

Excellent! How about Sweet Caroline, King of the Road, I'm a Believer, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Rhinestone Cowboy, Leavin' on a Jet Plane, Dancing in the Street (maybe a little complicated but a great song)? Any of those? Songs a person could know and sing, or just come in strong on the chorus.

Reposted by Christina,
In recent weeks, Generalisimo Cheeto's Dept. of Homeland Security has been posting Rockwell paintings as examples of "the America we're protecting." Meaning idyllic white smalltown America, which never existed. Rockwell's heirs are disgusted & outraged.

Obviously they didn't post THIS painting.
Relatives of late artist Norman Rockwell push back on DHS use of paintings
Norman Rockwell's granddaughter Daisy has condemned the Department of Homeland Security's use of his paintings, saying DHS is misappropriating his art to support policies he would not have endorsed.

Everything about this is creepy, but the inability to understand that no means no is at the top of the list.

Kahi (youngish fella), Willow (old lady), and a grandma spider who is not really a "pet" but I like having around all the same. #SecretSantaAoNZ
