Artist working mostly in ink and watercolor. Forever learning. #artist #watercolor #ink
Thank you! I’m working on a feminine version. More Gaia or goddess. It’s like a painterly version of zentangle. And so much fun to stitch the different elements together in composition.

I could totally agree with that. But sometimes the one we like less is the one that speaks to someone else. I prefer the original but can see your reasoning for the edit.

Eh, I fail as often as I succeed. Each new piece I work on is a learning process.

That’s beautiful. I haven’t gotten the hang of markers yet. Still trying because it fascinates me. I use fine liner pens, bottle ink and brush. I’ve only been successful with using markers for shadows and highlights. And signing really dark ink drawings. But getting better at practice.

I’ll have to try that. Thanks

I did an octopus on a watercolor canvas board. It was very difficult for me to work. I was wondering if you found the one you use difficult or if maybe it was just the cheap one I used. The layer of pigment would lift off if I applied another layer on top. Even if fully dried. Took forever to finish

I tried to do a pangolin in sepia once with zentangle patterns on the scales. It just became too much. I like yours so much better.

Thanks, man! I have been playing with new techniques and better inks and paint. It’s vastly improved the outcome.
