I’m scared to build anything the day before Webflow Conf… what if tomorrow they drop a feature that would’ve saved me hours? 👀⚡️

First workflow fix: transferring Figma variables to Webflow (Lumos projects).
Already wasted too much time in the Variables panel creating, copy-pasting, grouping, re-ordering.

Any hacks? Would love a JSON import.

I haven’t started optimizing my workflows yet. Still figuring out where to begin.
But I noticed one part is already perfect: Lumos

Shoutout to Timothy Ricks for creating the one part of my workflow that’s fully optimized.
And let’s be real — it’s not just f*ing sweet… Lumos is Webflow on steroids ⚡️

Step one of workflow optimization: figure out what my workflows even are 😅
What’s been a real game-changer in your workflow after optimizing or automating it?

I’m great at optimizing websites… but not so great at optimizing my own workflows.

Time to fix that: I’ll try to improve one part of my workflow each week as a freelancing Webflow designer & developer.

Update: I mentioned Scrimba being free, but it seems there are some limitations - like the editor requiring a subscription.

I’ve been exploring other options and found Joy of JavaScript by @joshwcomeau.com
It’s a bit pricey, but hey - it’s Christmas, and I’m gifting it to myself!

12 days off the grid—thanks to a busy client project. React learning is on pause, but not forgotten. Time to get back to it!

Decided to dive into React today, which led me to some pricey courses where my wallet said “nope.” Luckily, that led me to a gem 💎: #scrimba, an awesome platform for learning. Their free React course by @bobziroll.bsky.social is super engaging. One hour in & I’m hooked. Highly recommend!

Tried building a simple Next.js landing page yesterday—realized I have no idea how to start.

Time to revisit React basics and build that solid foundation. Let’s do this. 💪

Tried building a plain Next.js project today for a landing page.
No templates, no guidance—just me, an empty screen, and a mountain of tools staring back at me. 😅

To capture how it felt, I updated my profile banner.

Take a look and let me know if you’ve ever felt the same!

Should beginners still dive into Next.js & Tailwind, or jump straight into v0 witchcraft? I’m still hitting the basics first—gotta know my spells before I start casting. #nextjs #tailwind #v0

Looking ahead to next week: I’ve got a packed schedule with client calls, but I’m carving out time to tackle a tiny Next.js + Tailwind project. Ready to push my skills and pick up new tricks along the way! #BuildingInPublic #Freelancing

So far, Next.js feels surprisingly manageable—still new terrain for me, but it’s starting to click. The real test will be building my own project from scratch. Also, any tips for learning Tailwind? I figure I’ll just dive in, but I’m open to advice!

A few hours into Next.js and I’m blown away by the flexibility. Being able to plug in my own database and mix static & dynamic rendering feels like having a blank canvas for building something truly unique. Can’t wait to see where this leads! #NextJS #BuildingInPublic

Today, I’m diving into Next.js for the very first time by following the official ‘Learn Next.js’ course. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone (Webflow & plain JS) to explore this new world.

Any suggestions or must-know tips for a Next.js beginner? Let’s learn together! 🚀 #NextJS
