Other stuff too probably.

Should I print these together like the last slide? 🤔

Just posting for reasons that honestly aren’t clear to me at the moment.

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy these #photosofnothing that I took on a walk a few weeks back.

Side Quest is another reminder that anthology series can be so good when done well. Wide story variety, shared world. It really feels like one of the best ways art can connect broadly while still being focused & engaging.

Ep 3 had me crying. But it’s been a day already so factor that in I guess

Kindness is very cool.

Don’t let the insecure nihilists get away with suggesting otherwise.

Kindness is not a sign of weakness.

Choosing kindness is a radical act.

Because somebody prioritizes kindness does not mean they do not believe in self and community defense.

Quick reminder that being sad or mad or afraid is perfectly normal in the face of all this. Grieving is normal in the face of all of this. We will, though, do everything we can to not give in to despair because action is stifled by despair. We will rest, nourish, and love. We will not despair.

Ya know stories with dystopian societies where the villians obvious & generally are thought of as evil, & you wonder how it got there?

This is how. The current moment. They are disappearing people. Erasing history. Playing the market with peoples lives.

FYI 4 all the folks still not seeing this

It feels kinda important to recall that the sitting president is a nihilist who pursued his present position to stay out of jail and to get revenge. He has no coherent ideology, and is not interested in the job and there are extraordinarily dangerous ideologues using him accordingly.

So the latest ai propaganda drop promoting development in Gaza is as twisted as you’d expect of course; nothing new in that regard of course.

But this moment with dancers on the beach is such a funny slip. 1/2

Is it an exaggeration to call Bob Dylan the greatest American poet? No. He was a phenomenal lyricist:

What the actual *?! The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, the United States DOGE Service, as an entity protected from public records requests and most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by classifying its documents as presidential records.

it was all great, but I really loved how he ended it with the lyrics "turn this tv off"

I'd love to know if that made anybody skip the second half

love the kind of synchronicity where the dynamic of a frustrating social (media) interaction you just experienced is unrelatedly discussed in the podcast you happen to listen to right after.

although the repeating nature of such interactions does make it less surprising.

Still fun though

Despite the vibes being what they are, I’m trying to remain excited about the fact that I’ll be in my second art show of the year next week.

One of the pieces is bit of an experiment for me. My anxiety usually stops me from doing that, so I’m proud of myself for taking that step.

The amount of people that “love Detroit”, but are regularly fighting against it, is so maddening.

Cities need people of all types and economic statuses. If you’re concerned about property values, don’t fight against equitable progress; advocate for changes in legislation. Fight the correct fight.
NIMBYism strikes again in Detroit. The classic "We need affordable housing" - "but don't build it near me it'll bring down my property values" - this building has been vacant for years. Cities are supposed to have people, IMHO. www.freep.com/story/money/...
Controversy erupts over apartments plan near Detroit's Boston-Edison neighborhood
Residents in the neighborhood of the Motown Mansion say they fear the nearby project's traffic and parking needs would hurt property values.
