It was definitely a position of need and an injection of quality on a pretty lackluster D corps. It doesn’t undo the Leddy signing but mitigates a lot of its damage.

I loved watching him play his rookie and sophomore years. Always grinding. Always playing hard, and very skillfully. I also remember him deking Alex Pietrangelo (possibly?) out of his skates during a game against the blues. Hard not to love his game.
