We are outraged that US has backed out of deal to give Russia land we can't conquer and isn't America's to give away.

A blow against anti imperialism.
⚡️ Russia accuses US of backing out of alleged Ukraine territory surrender agreement.

"It seems that they proposed it and we were ready — and now they are not," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

OTD in 1920 Soviet Russia signed the Treaty of Tartu with Estonia. We promised that Russia “unreservedly recognizes the independence and sovereignty of the State of Estonia forever”.

Further proof you can trust a treaty we would sign with Ukraine…

❗️Allies have no right to lose focus on Ukraine — EU diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas

Disagreements among allies play into the hands of China and Russia. Security issues must be resolved within NATO, while trade conflicts only weaken both Europe and the United States.

First World War was started by Austria-Hungary.
Second World War: Hungary wasn't "drawn into it", but were enthusiastic allies with nazi-Germany.
In the war in Ukraine, they support russia.
When will Hungary become civilized and start siding with good instead of evil?

A few reflections on the US in the darkness of Trump:
1. The US is unable to defend any values.
2. The US lacks all checks & balances.
3. The US establishment is cowardly & ineffective.
Shut up about the free & brave!
They are elsewhere, in Ukraine for example.

🇲🇩 Sandu: Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine defends itself and seeks peace, engaging in good faith in a US-brokered peace plan. Russia sabotages peace talks with false claims while bombing civilians, leaving them without power and heat. This is not the behavior of a country that seeks peace.

China is Russia’s biggest enabler, and that means China is waging war on Europe.

European politicians need to stop considering China a partner of any sort.

Partners don’t help Russia send missiles at you

Four years, over a million Russian casualties, and yet Russia occupies far less Ukrainian land than it did one month into its full-scale invasion, when it had only tens of thousands of casualties.

This failure will be studied in military academies for the next decades

Russia kept lying they were only targeting military objects in Ukraine.

Now they don't even bother to lie anymore.

If the West has avoided fighting Russia so far, why assume it would do so to defend Ukraine later?

The best security guarantees for Ukraine are a strong army and a defeated Russia, and Europe should transfer Russia’s frozen assets to make that happen
