I was just trying to make a blanket scarf like the ones I like to wear, but fluffier.

It turned out more blanket than scarf lol 🤣
My blanket scarf is thick and long. The part that's showing is granny stitched and striped with gray, pink, blue, orange, green, and white yarn. It is wrapped on me, ends backward, covering my nose and down to my pelvis. It's wide enough to cover my shoulders. I'm wearing a black cardigan and a tan sweatshirt. My hair is in a ponytail with a grey headband. I'm in a room with a window that has a sheer floral curtain.

I deadheaded a bunch of lavender (about a quarter of the lavender I needed to.)

I've been trying to see how I can make things for the gift giving season so I can try to raise rent and bill money. (Definitely stay tuned for that!)

But really, this is a Disability Justice reflection post lol

I grew a cabbage! It's the first thing I've grown that survived and I can eat. 😅

My garden and crochet is grounding during this house/bed rest.

Luckily, it's been more house rest. I've been able to do stuff before I feel wonky.

I hope I get better, and then next year, I can grow TWO cabbages!

Regardless of how we feel about Beyoncé, it's BHM and I'm seeing disrespect in the press about this historic win

Funny thing: We were about to go to the store for milk and Barkley food. I was like, wait... lemme download my videos off TikTok.

There were important memories: Like Matt and I dancing in our backyard, arguing with Barkley about his bladder treat in the garden, snippets of past performances...

Did everyone else know Fraggle Rock was not a happy kids show? Or, watching it for the first time since I was 5, am I seeing the deep exististential philosophical overtones and social cultural commentary for the first time? Or is it both? 😅
