President Trump's budget provided zero dollars for water and heating assistance.
The Michigan Governor's budget has $7 million for water affordability. In 2020 there was $60 million.
There are water affordability bills in the Senate with bipartisan support.
There's a similar House bill.

Meeko A Williams again: He says the Jazz Fest was lacking and there is not corporate funding like there used to be. they were "begging" for donations to keep Jazz Fest free. He uses this example that relying on Federal rates for water affordability is not likely.
