"HB 397 seeks to encode several State Election Board rules the courts overturned last year, including the proposal to count ballots cast by hand after polls close on election night.

With the passage of SB 220, Democrats ensured medical cannabis is one step closer to being legal and accessible to patients in Georgia.

Through the bill, registered patients can legally possess up to 2 ounces of medical cannabis, ensuring they get the appropriate medical care they need and deserve.
