Greg Abbott is pushing the “FURRIES Act” claiming schools are giving litter boxes to students who act like cats.

But when I asked the bill author, he couldn’t name one school providing litter boxes to kids.

This is all part of Abbott’s smear campaign against our public schools.

@jennylsq.bsky.social Great interview/show with Tunde! My wife and I were also at the El Rey show (Thursday) and were undoubtedly some of the older attendees. Looking forward to seeing him/them at Just Like Heaven in a week and again at Red Rocks in August!

It’s painful to sit through, but in his reciprocal tariff announcement, his language (and what’s on the charts) indicates that he still thinks that other countries pay the tariffs. It’s mind-blowing. None of his advisors have the balls to tell him how tariffs work?

U.S. President Donald Trump was poised to impose sweeping new reciprocal tariffs on global trading partners on Wednesday, upending decades of rules-based trade, threatening cost increases and likely drawing retaliation from all sides.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

The Trump tax plan only works by cutting public services.

This incredible visualization combines the potential tax cuts (which mostly go to the rich) and loss of services (mostly borne by the poor).

It is a giant wealth transfer from the poorest to the richest. budgetlab.yale.edu/news/250319/...

I could write up why there’s no constitutional problem with the President using an auto-pen to sign official documents—or I could just post the 30-page 2005 opinion by George W. Bush’s Office of Legal Counsel that explains why in lots of detail.

I choose the latter:

This is a complete fucking embarrassment.

Just saw some of the “discussion” between Zelenskyy and Trump and Vance, but had to stop. Trump and Vance are infuriatingly idiotic. They wouldn’t let Zelenskyy talk, intentionally misunderstood what he was saying, and talked down to him. He’s the president of a sovereign nation, you imbeciles!
Glad to join bipartisan Senate group expressing solidarity with President Zelenskyy and the brave Ukrainian people.
