Horror enthusiast. Has a cat. Sometimes funny.
We need to coin the phrase "Kirk-a-dile" tears, because this is fucking disgusting. #CharlieKirk

This might be the worst movie I've ever seen.

Bring Her Back was so good. It's one of the most unique takes on the "possessed child" genre that I have ever seen, and at its core, the film is a meditation on grief, loss, and generational trauma. A solid sophomore film from the Phillipou Brothers (dir. of Talk to Me). #horror #horrorsky

There's something about Doom: The Dark Ages that doesn't feel right, and I'm not quite sure what it is. Im trying to reserve my judgement until I'm done, but I'm having a hard time feeling like the game is pulling me in like Eternal did. What do you think it is? #Doom #DoomTheDarkAges #Gaming

Companion fantastic! A techno-thriller that touches on abuse, toxic relationships, and the human need to control things, while exploring the dangers/moral dilemmas presented by the existence artificial intelligence. Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid are rapidly rising to A-List #horror #horrorsky

I really enjoyed The Bondsman, but it's definitely not as good or as interesting as Reaper. The premise is nearly identical, but the Bondsman isn't nearly as fun or charming. #horror #horrorsky

If you watch Y2K expecting some well crafted, piece of art-house horror, you will be disappointed. It's an insane throwback to 90s horror, soaked in nostalgia. It's B-movie fun with touches of brilliance. Try not to take it seriously and enjoy the ride. There's good stuff here. #horror #horrorsky

The Parenting starts out strong, but loses its luster as the film goes on. It's very funny and it's definitely an homage to Beetlejuice in many ways. It just struggles to find its voice, and doesn't have a sturdy enough foundation to lean on jokes in the way it does throughout. #horror #horrorsky

I feel like people are too hard on #Netflix films. I liked The Electric State. A popcorn action flick that knows exactly what it is. It has more good moments than bad moments, it's funny, and manages to tell a pretty cohesive story, given it's somewhat bonkers subject matter. #movies #moviesky

I enjoyed Starve Acre! It's a moody-broody British folk-horror film that really takes its time building an eerie-dreary atmosphere filled w/ grief, trauma, and terror. It's carried HEAVILY by nuanced performances from Matt Smith and Morfydd Clarke and the score is haunting. #horror #horrorsky

I really liked Heretic! It's a "trapped-in-a-labyrinth" film centered around faith, with really clever writing and an out-of-the-box performance by Hugh Grant that was really fun to watch. I wanted it to end differently, but I still really liked the ending. Good stuff here. #horror #horrorsky

Well, this comic was friggin' amazing. Think Dexter having a weird baby with The Berenstain Bears. I couldn't put it down. Expertly paced, grotesque, and oddly charming. @patrickhorvath.bsky.social just absolutely knocked this one out of the park! MORE STUFF LIKE THIS PLEASE! #Comics #Comicsky

Ryu, Ken, Leonardo, and Raphael are either getting their spines ripped out, or crushed to death by a gigantic robot dinosaur. Considering Scorpion and Sub-Zero 's animalities are a polar bear and a literal scorpion, I'm giving this fight to the Power Rangers. #MortalKombat #nerd #nerdsky #fight

Dark Match from the Creator of Wolfcop, Lowell Dean. This movie was pretty ridiculous. Totally campy, over-the-top, cult-horror told through the lens of independent pro wrestling. I wouldn't say that this was a GREAT movie, but it's good, dumb fun. #horror #horrorsky

This was really fun, but on a sensory level, I'd liken it to watching a strobe light go off for an hour and fifty minutes. Jim Carrey's performance is worth the price of admission alone. Keanu Reeves is perfect, and the kids will love it. #Sonic3 #Filmsky #Movies

I feel like I should defend #Joker with my last breath. I loved it. It's: "What if Travis Bickle survived the events of Taxi Driver and the sequel was a musical?". It tells such a bleak story about mental illness and the modern glamorization of psychopaths in such a bizarre way. #filmsky #movies

I didn't hate this! The pilot covers a lot of ground very quickly, but good performances all around. Patrick Gibson nails it. Directing gets a little cheesy at times with a few too many "winks" to the audience. It's very fun, though! One of the better entries in the series for sure. #dexter
