Instagram and Facebook have recently blurred, blocked or removed posts from two abortion pill providers. Instagram also suspended the accounts of several abortion pill providers and hid the providers from appearing in search and recommendations. nyti.ms/4h3PF1x

I have and will continue to. But you know why I say it here ? Because @bsky.app is 30m strong and growing quickly. The collective wisdom and influence of users here is far greater than any individual democrat.

I can't say it enough. Bluesky can be the influence that can counter RW media.
No offense, Mark, but you have influence and power most of us don’t. Why don’t you speak up to those in DC you have connections with? Actions speak louder than words as you well know.

The secret is that other writers aren't competition; they're peers, colleagues and friends. Someone who reads me is going to read other writers as well; the entire publishing economy is "yes, and." Therefore it does me no harm, and much good, to support other writers and to wish them well.
And Heinlein would have approved! Terry Pratchett said, "Most SF writers were once fans. There's a habit they have, not of paying back, but of paying forward; I know of no other branch of literature where the established "names" so keenly encourage wannabe writers to become their future competitors

One of my recent reads. Mostly anecdotal -follows 5 individuals & their families. Spends a few pages at the end discussing current scientific reasoning behind the phenomenon. Doesn't discuss solutions, but provides some understanding into how people become ensnared in conspiracy theories.
