Ely, again. From whens the boys were spawned. My third Pride event this year too! I spent an unprecedented amount of dosh on locally made pretty things from the stalls there.

Almost 3 wks at Dad's place in Newbury. A working holiday - installed a washer dryer, fixed doorbell, cut his hair, cooking etc but in the meantime, bike rides, stargazing, cider in the 'spoons, walking around Greenham Common and a day trip to the British Library with dear friend Charlotte.

I've been putting off doing this since last year - making a splashback for my Dad's kitchen sink. They're vinyl but will do the job. I'm pretty pleased with the result - not sure why it took so long to find the confidence!

Way back when I thought it would be great to have a summer baby (mine's round xmas and hard to organize around xmas parties), I didn't anticipate the 30 degree baking day. It's a blue velvet cake. My fingers are smurf coloured now too.

My making pottery to make plant pots has reached a middle (and the tea pot I dropped and smashed the lid so has been repurposed).

A few years back, I worked the Christmas post in the sorting office between Utrecht and Nieuwegein. I'd spend a shift on a +-40m machine. The worst part was pulling out chewed up Xmas cards, mostly when people don't seal them. I'm posting this lot, sealed, on Friday the 13th for good luck 🤞.

We've been from Dom Utrecht to Dom Köln today. Cologne didn't disappoint. Including the Christmas markets, food and drinks!

I managed to get an afternoon studying done at the HU and was rewarded on the way back with the most sublime sunset. Dutch weather isn't always shitty.
