The majority of men in my life watch Youtube and play video games. At work, though, it's men who've been locked up who read the most. Enough that I'm starting a "Rough Cut" Book Club: Iceberg Slim, Dennis Lehane, Donald Goines, Bonnie Jo Campbell, Treasure Hernandez, Donald Ray Pollock, K'wan, etc.

This still shouldn't discount that women on average still make less than men. It's just that we're looking at this shit wrong.

The stupidity of this is that the most male-coded jobs don't pay anywhere near as much say nursing or teaching. Nurses on average still make slightly more than engineers. Also, I work in a HEAL job and wages aren't rising more with inflation as more men are becoming librarians.

Buy it! Solidly one of the best books I've read all year. I heard Tania James call it "gutsy" last night. Dark and hilarious. It's like if a your favorite fabulist were hired to write for Black Mirror after reading Camus (or for her, she's a huge Marc Fisher fan).
