very important and I've been hearing the same
I have been hearing from people that they have been having issues accessing their Social Security accounts. INSTEAD of going to a branch which may be hundreds or 1Ks+ of miles away from you, call your members of Congress. They have constituent services that will help you regain access. Please share!

The lawsuit challenging DOGE's shutdown of USAID was filed on behalf of fired USAID employees. Where is the lawsuit on behalf of fired Social Security staff? Or Social Security recipients whose data has been stolen? Or Social Security beneficiaries who were accused of being dead but are alive? WHEN?

No more phone support for Social Security. This is INSANITY. And outrageous.
So it appears DOGE has decreed that Social Security administration will no longer provide phone support. At all. This is in addition to shutting down a ton of local SSA offices. www.axios.com/2025/03/17/s...
Leaked memo: DOGE plots to cut Social Security phone support

Now, we must expand that idea to all public colleges & universities.
