Florida, here are your tax dollars at work. Law enforcement are being tasked with monitoring a crosswalk to ensure it's not restored with rainbow colors after the state government painted it over a second time over the objections of the local government and community.
A Florida Department of Transportation crew early Sunday painted the Pulse crosswalk back to black and white for a second time as supporters continued to try to restore the rainbow-colored crossing. Now, police agencies are monitoring the site.

Fascinating. People want solutions that acknowledge problems.
Fascinating survey data on the missing Biden voters by Lake Research. The voters who sat out in '24 weren't looking for a centrist or turned off by trans rights. They want a genuine economic populist agenda: take on corporate greed, lower costs, and make the wealthy pay their fair share.

This is fascinating and important. I had not sufficiently focused on the environmental impact of mining rare earths, the mineral backbone of the technology revolution.
It’s unfortunate that no one from the Trump administration will read this story because it’s the lack of regulations seen here in China that led to these terrible issues. The same regulations Trump has just abolished.

A meditation…we live in our stories, but see every story in the world… the love in the world truly requires we find it in ourselves and then it truly is everywhere… that is both the magic and responsibility of co-creation…

I was listening to Buddhist teacher Tara Brach quoting Pope Francis this morning. He famously spoke of the need for a Revolution of Tenderness. It struck a chord. So important to calm our own fears, hard in moments like this in the world, & connect. Tenderness as an act of strength. Love to you all

We must not remain silent to the normalisation of violence by governments and media in behaviours we would be horrified by and work to resolve in our own families and communities. The greatest treasure is our connection to each other and country… our environment… sacred. ❤️

Good morning, friends. In these contentious times, we have all been agitated and upset during conversations. It is far better to walk away, instead of responding right then. Breathe and gather your thoughts. And wait for calm.
