Plus, some perceived left/moderate splits come from party's lack of adoption of a viewpoint. If Dems took clear stances on certain topics - trans rights, affordable healthcare decoupled from employment - I bet those positions would quickly become seen as moderate!

This whole approach of meeting the Reps where they are, literally and figuratively. I can't count the number of posts/vids by Dems saying "we need to reign in govt but DOGE is too far" or "we need tariffs to protect workers but this is too much." Once you accept the Reps premise, it's over
