Just got a copy of a song I worked on with @reese_mchenry last year pressed into wax. There's not a day that goes by I don't wish we'd gotten more time. We were not done with each other.

Type any bullshit you want into Google and append the word "meaning", and Google's AI will explain your new proverb to you. This is much better than a livable planet or a functioning economy. Thank you billionaires!

New old stock Dusky More Me, single MosFET boost pedal. First $100 or interesting trade offer gets it. I'm only intermittently looking at social media, so message me if you want me to see it in a timely manner.

I saved the receipt for this drill press in case I needed to take it back. I think I'm past the return period now, and can finally throw away this receipt. Yes, I bought it at an Ace hardware that is also a pharmacy.

I asked @tombrantleyrewinds to rewind these pickups to vintage Guild specs. I don't have a lot of vintage Guild experience, but they sound pretty great to me. Lots of clarity, not a super high output. Yummy!

Smooth sailing so far on this rewire. This might be a good stopping point for tonight. Would hate to spike my cortisol right before bed.

TW: Politics

Maybe you won't find this comforting, but if you're sad because you see the election as a moral referendum, it isn't. There's some petty nepotism in the news right now, but the incumbent administration has overseen and supported the extermination of an entire people in Palestine.

Someone told me grief is cumulative--every time you experience grief, you relive some of the grief you've already experienced. I have no evidence to the contrary.

One of my favorite bits of science that's happened during my lifetime has been the slow dawning realization that dinosaurs never actually went extinct, they just adapted so well to a changing environment that we didn't even recognize them.
