Whenever I hear a politician being interviewed, my defenses go up, waiting for the avoidance, misrepresentation and prepared lines, to try and maintain some dignity. It's so refreshing when you get to listen to a politician and that bullshit radar just doesn't ever ping. Transparent and accessible.

This was such a predictably funny interview. Streeting extols the virtues of authenticity but as soon as he's asked a question that just requires a genuine response, authenticity completely vacates the building. Back to saying not much at all and unconvincing gaslighting.

The only way a council makes savings is by making all the children and all the older people go somewhere else, so they don't have to go into debt paying for SEND or social care provision. Otherwise, just get on board the bankruptcy train.

Amazing how low down the list of priorities simple survival of the human species is. Apparently it will have very little impact on the economic success of various giant corporations.

I ensure I have enough leave left to have Friday off every week through Jan and Feb which I use to go out early to soak up some cold nature before going home, baking bread and hibernating the rest of the day by a warm fire in my cave. What's not to look forward to?

I don't think you need to do any technicality contortionism to justify removing his royal titles. Simply consider the weight of the different titles he has collected, and surely Nonce>Prince. Every time. He made his choice.

Yeah, but are they a white, black or brown Dutch immigrant. Because it won't be based on actual immigration status, or nationality, but on what colour your skin is and how different you look from the Reform ideal. Black British have more to fear than white Europeans.
