This man was on TV like a week ago saying that trans kids should be protected and have the right to seek gender affirming medical treatments (with parental consent) that make them happier and healthier just like any other kids in the world.

One of the ordinary acceptable outfit choices in 1984 for an upper middle-class high-school guy:
-Pink button-down oxford, usually untucked (blue was more common, but pink was a solid alternate)
-Levi's 501s
-Topsiders
-Ray-Bans (or cat's eye Vuarnets)
By 1990, a pink oxford was no longer ordinary.
