I am deeply disturbed by the continued escalation of force we are seeing across this country. The videos circulating from today’s incident in Minneapolis raise serious questions, and based on what has been made public so far, this does not appear to be a clearly justified use of force.

MLK Day is a reminder that progress is never permanent,it must be defended. As attacks on civil rights, labor rights, and democracy grow louder, we are called to carry forward Dr. King’s courage and commitment to justice.
