Thought I would introduce myself to begin - I'm the founder and president of the Canadian Longevity Association, which is dedicated to accelerating the introduction of effective longevity treatments and ensuring equitable access to them for all Canadians.

Researchers from Laval University have found out that white collar workers who work more than 40 hours per week in midlife had higher arterial stiffness at older age as measured by carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity.

In a large mice study, combining rapamycin and anti-cancer drug trametinib led to further lifespan extension than either drug alone.

Treatment also showed benefits against multiple age-related causes of mortality, including cancer.

A new meta-analysis of 79 studies on mortality and sleep duration found that compared to the standard range of 7-8 hours of sleep, sleeping less than 7 hours saw a 14% increase in mortality, while sleeping more than 9 hours resulted in a 34% increase in mortality.
