I enjoyed Pokémon Legends AZ a lot! Many old favourites in there with a few new favourites, and the photo mode is great.

Snapping selfies with happy music on during big emotional moments was very fun.

The battle system is a huge improvement and the gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying.

I spent a little quiet time this evening making a couple of Pauper decks that have been on my mind for a while: Arcbound Shikari focused on modular artifact creatures, and Torgal with the simplest strategy of humans, wolves and shapeshifters all fightin' things.

Very satisfying to have finished!

Emulators allow dreams to be realised! My 8 year old self would have many terrible things to get a Golem in Pokémon Blue!

I've got a Stardew Valley longplay on in the background this afternoon and the player just grabbed a pizza and 11pm and sprinted back to their farm to water their forgotten crops, pizza grease on their fingers and pockets full of rocks and flowers.

They've matched my playstyle perfectly.

Kindfolx has been in my sights for AGES! How could it not be, look at this fella:

Shadow of the Colossus is being awed by the natural majesty of the Golden Fish in the Moomins, but lacking Snufkin's wisdom about how best to preserve the beauty of nature.

I saw Flow today!

It was a wonderful and moving film, the amount of character, emotion and humour the animals have was fantastic, and the two big moments - you'll know when you see them - were beautiful.

The sound was phenomenal, the music powerful, and the animals each charming and believable.

I'm replaying New Pokémon Snap!

It is a fantastic game; the N64 predecessor was excellent, and I could play this forever.

One moment that genuinely chilled me - the FRILLISH! They are usually ghoulishly devoid of emotion, but the second they catch a fish and drag it down to the depths? Ecstatic!

I started playing Pokémon Snap again today - still amazing, I could playbit forever - and was reminded when I trended online for a bit with my very basic close shot of Wingull!

I'll have to upload some of my favourites, this game was excellent for hilariously unexpected snapshots.

It was my birthday recently, and a friend found the perfect card!

(it was filled to the brim with MtG jokes)

A great range of games shown in the #iiiShowcase ! A thread of my favourites, starting with
Tears of Metal, an epic-scale hack and slash with fantastic art and great voice acting. The special moves do a comic book panel highlight that I love!

Look Outside has been my brainworm for the last few days - the artstyle is uniquely suited to expressing the madness without sending me packing. It's a fantastic game with a very particular aesthetic and mood that is a treat for me, enough horror and humour to keep me going. Strong recommendation!

The Final Fantasy set of #MtG is shaping up brilliantly! FF8 is looking a bit Blue at the moment, but some characters are spot on - Beatrix and Steiner are fantastic with their Equipment focus, Barret would be nothing but a Red Rebel - and you can suplex a train! Everything is just as it should be!

I finished Bramble in a rare spot of free time (read: very late night into the early hours) and cannot rate it highly enough.
I didn’t know anything of it, went in blind and was blown away. It is a fantastic tale with terrifying set pieces and draws wonderfully, and horridly, from Nordic fairytales.

Bramble is an amazing game. I bought it knowing about the fairytale inspiration, but had no idea what I was getting into. My emotions are all over the place, and I am absolutely hooked!

There are so many beautiful, heart warming moments, and then... other moments.

DK Bananza looks incredible, but the real star of the show cannot be ignored:

A friend was saying how low effort Flamigo is, and with this card I am not surprised he came to that conclusion!
The identity of flamigo and the ideas behind it are great, as far as I can tell it's a backup dancer/stunt double, copying a partner's stats changes on entry with its passive Co-Star.

Slice and Dice is a very fun, and very variable game!

This is one of the fighty guys, who hits things. That's his approach - consistent hitting. But what if you told him this wand was hitting, even if it actually boosted his allies instead? And what if a polearm magically duplicated that boost?

Another excellent Magic video from Spice, liberally sprinkled with my favourite type of takes.

As per usual, a new card I've never heard of popped up - these Advocates are brand new to me!

I bought some amazing rolls - St. Pierres Brioche Burger Buns - and this is the last morsel of the last bun. Highly recommended... but it is a bit like eating cake. Lots of cheese and meat helps the balance!

Patapon on Switch!

I still song along to that beat years after my PSP has been shelved - instant purchase for me! So happy to have the little guys back!
