thinking more about this: it is highly ironic that at the same time that it serves as a test case for the "unitary executive," this administration is all but being led by two subordinate officials with no immediate political accountability.

The same people who want to insist we’re permanently and fundamentally a centrist country have had seemingly zero problem watching that center get forcibly dragged to the right. The only way to fight back is to fight back and the only way to win is to win. Be true, undeniable, and stop compromising.
