I think this is a tragedy for the CofE. It means they are still a long way from where the country of which it proclaims it is the national church is on gay marriage. How should gay people, or those of us who have gay friends or family members, think of an institution which doesn't respect them?

We're into a second day here in SE23. Thrilled that our water bills are going up. It's our fault Thames Water's board-approved infrastructure plan was deficient.
I am very concerned that many of my constituents have been without water all day.

Just watched The Producers at the Menier Chocolate factory - superb. Many dancing Nazis. A reminder that if there's one thing the darkness hates (more than being ignored), it's being laughed at. And laugh we must.
