The Bronx, NYC
How does a subcompact petrol car compare to to a large electric truck or SUV? They don't sell electric cars in the US anymore only oversized monstertrucks.

Didn't realize it was still t shirt weather in November in the Netherlands, impressive.

Indeed, here you will find buildings where the back of the building is on stilts because the ground drops 10 stories in one block as well as subway stations in the side of cliffs (that have city blocks and buildings at the top and bottom of said cliff).

Flat? Ugh... The Northern Half of Manhattan and The Bronx are not flat. Yonkers (which borders the Bronx) is the second hilliest city in the United States (after San Francisco).

It's also one of the few places in the country that made large YIMBY reforms when it eliminated Single Family Zoning in 2018.

Where are housing prices low compared to that area's median income? I know there are places where housing is cheap compared to the national median, but most of those places have lower median incomes than the national average.

The crisis is that job growth has eclipsed new home growth in almost every major metro in the US whilst average household size has also simultaneously decreased. So you have an increase is demand coupled with a functional decrease is supply.

As someone with a child current in NYC's universal Pre-K program, I can assure you it's not random, you rank your top 12 choices and get placed your highest choice that has spots (based on a random lottery #) with advantage given yo schools in your district. Made up criticism.

Gaza is controlled by Israel and has been for 50 years. Obviously Egypt is going to have a stronger border with Israel than Isreal will have with itself. The US has stronger border protections with Mexico than it does with US Prisons.

That's awesome! I did not realize there were places that still charged students for lunches, great to see its last remnants snuffed out.

Yes, I wasn't knocking them. The phones should be able to dock into external displays and run full macOS apps like DeX on Android Phones, the phones are more than powerful enough. Apple under Tim Cook won't do it though because they can't siphon 20% of every purchase on macOS like they do on iOS.

This is mostly a branding exercise, as M series chips already are iPhone Chips (with a higher TDP / better thermals / a few more cores)

The way the media treats anonymous leftist's posts on social media as representative of the entire Democratic Party while the words and actions of actual Republican Representatives are brushed off as unrepresentitive of whole Republican Parry never fails to infuriate me.

Before the closure downstate NY's electric grid was 68% from fossil fuel, it was 94% fossil fuel in 2023. Thanks to the closing of the plant. An environmental catastrophe.

Closing the nuclear power plant was one of the worst things he did for the environment! Not sure how you could say that an environmentalist win.

I also genuinely think Z being critical of the actions of the Iseali government whilst supporting NYC Jews in fighting antisemitism is a good thing for the Jewish Diaspora. Isreal is in rouge state territory & the more separation Isreal has from Jewish identity in the minds of the public the better.

Genuine question, is this an AI generated video of someone playing a game that doesn't exist or is this a real person playing an AI generated game. I assume its the former, which makes it complete garbage. But if its the latter its at least interesting it made something that is sorts playable.
