I understand It’s well established in law that statements made by someone on X are subject to the same libel laws as statements published elsewhere. Why aren’t #KeirStamer and #JessPhillips taking #ElonMusk to court over what he’s said?

“Customer Help” (sic) @theguardian.com tells me “As the new Editions app can only run on Ios 16+ and Android 7+ and the old version has been deleted, you will no longer be able to access the Editions app as there is no work around for this.”
And so ends half a century as a Guardian reader for me!

So, it appears from today I no longer can access the @theguardian.com editions app on my perfectly serviceable iPad or iPhone as I can’t update the iOS system. Do I need to just cancel my subscription and view on the web with the hoi polloi for free? Seems like a retrograde step to me.

Just caught an #Amazon delivery guy stuffing a package behind my dustbin without having rung the doorbell or knocking on the door first. I challenged him on this, but he just walked away. Is this a thing now? What happens when stuff gets stolen in these circumstances?
