So you're saying there are 3.5 million commercial truck drivers in the United States, and yet truckin' music as a genre somehow died off?

I did a podcast! I *think* I helped Gavin finally clear out the Dave Sullivan backlog, and I was reminded of Awfulmania and how little to no evidence of the show survived.
It's Zeroes of Wrestling Episode 17: Judas Cheesecake! I'm joined by the smooth voice of Chris Eckert as we discuss the worst of AAA When Worlds Collide*, Survivor Series 94, Starrcade 94, Royal Rumble 95, and SuperBrawl 5. Well, "worst" is relative for that first one. redcircle.com/shows/zeroes...

Apologies for dumping this on people on a Sunday morning, but Warren Ellis's "now that I'm writing Excalibur, Kitty Pryde is gonna FUCK" interview has been a staple of FBB4L lore for years now. I found the original quote and it's worse than we remembered. (Hero Illustrated #25, July 1995)

Someone on here must know, but Steve Geppi doesn't own any portion of the Baltimore Orioles anymore, does he?

this series is really good. the kind of comics that creates lifelong comics fans.
my dream comics industry is one full of books like this (black and white, crime, good dialogue). the masses would beg me for superheroes, and I would hand them AMY RACECAR.

Every once in awhile the Facebook Suggested Posts really hit it out of the ballpark. Thank you, all of my friends who like me never post on Facebook anymore, otherwise I never would have seen this.

Watching my favorite Christmas movie Seven Years in Tibet. Cannot believe people are wasting time with movies that only have one Christmas in them.

"Incorrectly claimed" is a funny turn of phrase.
If I said that Frasier had more episodes than Cheers, that is an incorrect claim.
If I said that I co-created Cheers and Frasier, that is more like a total lie?

Keith Giffen was one of the first handful of cartoonists I recognized when comics became my obsession. As a kid, I loved his stories. As a teen, I was into his styles. As a professional, his attitude clicked with me. He’s always been an influential presence in one way or another. A profound loss…

Keith Giffen meant a lot to me, so his obituary at @CBR naturally is probably way too long, but even being way too long, it wasn't long enough, if you know what I mean. RIP to a comic book icon.

RIP Keith Giffen. I started posting about comics on BBSs as "Ambush Bug" when I was 12. My first attempt at comics blogging was called Contempt of Comics. One of my first (and certainly one of my finest) original art purchases is pictured below. So formative, from JLI to every strange project since.
